Halibut4Humanity has been a staple form of sustainable sustenance at DIO Fest since 2015.  The fish they cook up for their tasty tacos have mostly been caught within the last 24 hours, making them of the particularly fresh variety. They source all of their fish and ingredients from local fisherman and farmers, making their plates a truly communal affair.

The mission of Halibut4Humanity is to cultivate Biodiversity and human imagination absent of greed. The profit from all of their events goes towards scholarship fund for entrepreneurs and scholars that have are focused on preserving biodiversity, social justice, and environmental preservation. So far, all of the grant recipients have gone to support single parents seeking higher education with an aligned focus and mission. While their scholarships have been modest thus far, the impact of the Halibut4Humanity message speaks volumes.

See the Halibut4Humanity Organization website in the link below...

Issac Simpson, affectionately known by most as "Ike," runs Halibut4Humanity events with nothing but a smile and good vibes. Stop by his booth for some yummy grub, knowing that your body will thank you for the consciously sourced nutrients, and that your funds are going to support those with a desire to build a better world.
