We focus on the best up and coming independent artists who share our stoke to create authentic art experiences.

We place a special emphasis on the communities and artists that make up the fabric of DIO, starting with Camp Krem, the summer camp in the redwoods for those with developmental disabilities where the first-ever DIO Fest was held. Camp Krem has been a sacred place not only in it’s own unique history, but also a source of inspiration and collaboration for DIO artists.

After eight years of magical DIO Fests happening each April Camp Krem and DIO faced a new world reality. In 2020, COVID-19 not only shut down the entire live music industry, it also required Camp Krem to close the doors of their year-round programs. Then with a few more months, Camp Krem tragically burned in the extreme California fire season. At first we were simply shocked and needed time. Now, we see the future as a beautiful opportunity to rebuild back stronger than ever, for Camp Krem and for DIO.

The story of Camp Krem (and frankly the world at large in 2020) is what gives us a higher purpose. Our mission at DIO is to amplify the spirit of Camp Krem by using our platform to inspire artists and audiences to create the world we want to live in. We can’t wait to see what kind of unique mind-blowing concert experiences we can create together.

We are currently in the planning phase of how to best serve our community of artists, audiences and community for the 2021/2022 time frame as live music events return. We are brainstorming ways to help Camp Krem rebuild, host another festival and find new unique ways of creating the live music experiences we have become known for.
