Futurebirds

Hailing from the bohemian college town of Athens, Georgia, Futurebirds play laid-back country-rock with an atmospheric, psychedelic twist. The group began turning heads with the release of a self-titled EP, whose backwoods harmonies and pedal steel riffs helped earn them a contract with Autumn Tone Records. With the label’s help, Futurebirds booked time at Chase Park Transduction -- one of Athens’ most renowned studios, with a client list that includes R.E.M., Drive-By Truckers, and Jason Isbell -- and recorded Hampton’s Lullaby.

The debut album was released in August 2010, and the group issued a follow-up EP, Via Flamina, while touring in support of both releases. The band's sophomore outing, the eclectic Baba Yaga, arrived in spring 2013. Addressing themes of dualism, such as life on the road versus at home, Hotel Parties followed in 2015.

Taylor Rae

Taylor Rae is a guitarist/singer/songwriter born and raised in the mountains of Santa Cruz, California. With an extensive background in musical theatre, a natural gift of melody and growing up singing in the church, it was almost inevitable for her music journey to start at an early age.

At 18, she made a move to Los Angeles to attended Musicians Institute and to pursue a career performing her original music. She put together a band there and released her third studio album, "Gettin' High to Stay Low" in 2014. Now at 23, Taylor has found a way to modernize her unique 60s & 70’s inspired sound while blending r&b, jazz, funk and blues/rock into a beautiful melting pot of organic music she calls "Soul and Roll". She was recently awarded The 2017 Santa Cruz NEXTies "Musician of the Year."
