go ahead, bring 'em all

We’re happy to offer a family friendly camping event. We're confident there's plenty of fun to be had for the whole family. The festival grounds are tucked away in the hills of Boulder Creek on private property, making this is a great venue to introduce your young ones to the forest and the arts community at the same time. There is a designated Family Camp area. Please don’t bring the family if you are concerned about noise or have high maintenance requirements for your accommodations, as DIO Fest is a primitive camping festival, not for the faint of heart.

Parents

We’re happy to assist you in finding your way to the Family Camping area, as well as identifying kid-friendly activities. We also suggest bringing a wagon with sun umbrella, so your little one(s) can stay on-the-go with you through the fest.

Kids 12 and under receive free admission! There will be kids activities available at the arts & crafts room. There's a kids-only swim hour starting 9AM on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Please visit the front desk or arts & crafts room for more info!

Family Camp

Family Camp is located behind the upper main festival grounds, next to the play structure. It may not be completely quiet come nightfall, but at such an intimate festival, it’s the most optimal location for families.
