Health & Safety

WE ARE ALL RESPONSIBLE TO ENSURE DIO FEST IS A SAFE EVENT. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOUR FELLOW ATTENDEES AND REPORT ANY UNSAFE BEHAVIOR TO STAFF OR THE HEALTH & SAFETY CABIN. PLEASE DRINK LOTS OF WATER AND PLAY NICE.

The health & safety Center

The Health & Safety Center will be located at the cabin just above the Amphitheater Stage. There will be cots for resting, first aid supplies, and water available for any festival goers who are feeling under the weather or need basic first aid supplies. DIO Fest does not provide any professional medical treatment. In case of an emergency, the Safety Staff will alert Emergency Services to respond as soon as possible. If you have any medical conditions or are feeling unwell, please excuse yourself from the event or report to the Health & Safety Center before the situation worsens.

Greening and Leaving No Trace

DIO Fest is a leave-no-trace event!

Let's keep Camp Krem beautiful! Please pick up your trash and lend a hand to others who may be in need. We plan to leave Camp Krem in tip-top shape for the upcoming special needs summer camp session!

Trash, Compost, Recycling

Be sure to throw away trash, recycling, and compost in the appropriate bins. Please pick up trash any trash on the ground if you see it, but hopefully this won’t be an issue. If you notice any environmental issues, please report them to the front desk as soon ASAP.

We ask that you bring your own reusable plates, utensils and other items so that we minimize our waste. Running water is on the event grounds and throughout the campsite. Please do not bring paper plates, plastic forks, or napkins. We want to tread as lightly on this beautiful Earth as we can, encourage sustainability, and have a great time while we're at it.

No Fires

Please throw away your cigarette butts in designated ash trays. With the lasting effects of our drought, it is CRUCIAL that we take extreme care with any cigarettes or propane stoves.

THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO OPEN FLAMES, CHARCOAL, OR FIRES ALLOWED ON THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS. THIS RESTRICTION ABSOLUTELY APPLIES TO FIRE SPINNING AND FIRE PERFORMANCE - LEAVE THESE ITEMS AT HOME.

No Pets

Please leave your pets at home. Unfortunately, pets make a mess and tend to get into trouble at big events. Again, please leave your pets at home.

If you have a trained/certified service animal (no emotional support), we require you to provide all documentation upon check-in and for the animal to then wear identifying service vest throughout the event. Please contact us at info@do-it-ourselves.com if you have any specific questions.
